Position Overview

KBS Services is hiring its first operations role. We are looking for a professional with an analytical and curious mind towards business process and winning operations. This role will primarily:

  1. Optimize Scalable Systems & Tools > We leverage applications like Salesforce. This role requires a heavy use and appreciation for technology and data as you build workflows and solutions to drive max efficiencies within our business.
  2. Drive Operational Excellence > We need a hands-on leader to drive projects and build scalable business processes. This requires exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. It also requires a customer obsession… always asking if what we are doing is adding more value for our customer?
  3. Client Advisory Reporting > You will be focused on the presentational quality of client deliverables. You will be responsible for building content and reporting templates used in systematic reporting packages.Our advisory value needs to be distilled and delivered through clear and concise presentational deliverables.

Success within the position is highly dependent upon a competitive and persistent work attitude, excellent communication skills, and a bulldog-type approach toward building enduring systems and processes that allow for accelerated company growth.

You will have direct interaction with savvy client professionals (PE, VC, Family Office personnel). This position requires extreme professionalism (in addition to our company requirement for unwavering integrity).

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve internal workflows and processes. Create the infrastructure to support scale. This includes direct use of 21st century tools, and direct work with marketing, sales, analytics, customer experience and finance related functions
  • Manage offshore and outsourced work efforts
  • Develop the standard tools and templates to allow client advisory reporting to scale
  • Project management of ad hoc company initiatives. Define requirements, analyze outcomes and drive alignment and action across company functions
  • Development of processes &governance that leverage large amounts of data

Preferred Experience
  • Consulting or analyst experience building presentations, reports and written work
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience
  • 2+ years in an advanced finance /accounting-based role
  • 2+ years working with large datasets and data management systems (CRM / SQL tools)
  • Project management experience with significant responsibilities building something
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple and concise way
  • Excellent business writing skills
  • Proven ability and ambition to execute in the face of ambiguity
  • Works extremely well as a member of a team, and excels individually
  • Strong initiative, ownership, and attention to detail
