The Company

C2FO helps manufacturers & suppliers to grow their businesses by way of providing working capital that has historically not been available to them. They do this by collateralizing the AR of the manufacturer / supplier, and working directly with the distributor (i.e. Walmart, Target, etc.) and creditors to get cash back to the manufacturer / supplier faster than previously provided.

Build & professionalize accounting operations within the vertical
Scale the reporting structure needed to support multiple entities and multiple financing relationships
Own monthly funding partner engagements

Compensation

KBS expects all-in comp will be $85k to $95k + equity depending upon experience

In the Senior Accountant role, you will have the opportunity to assist with the day-to-day accounting for Capital Finance. This position is essential to ensuring the highest level of financial reporting accuracy through maintenance of internal processes and adherence to GAAP. Oversee balance sheet and income statement GL accounts and the different supporting schedules
Handle balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
Support the accurate and timely closing of ledgers on a monthly basis
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of detailed spreadsheets to support various journal entries
Assist in annual audit with external auditor
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of internal controls
Appropriately track and maintain client-related expenses and rebilling to clients
Recommend improvements, adaptations, or revisions in the accounting system and procedures
Contribute to team performance through ad hoc assignments as bandwidth and ability allow

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
At least 3 years of prior public accounting or banking/financial services accounting experience.
Strong communication (written and verbal) abilities
Analytical and proficient with excel skills
Exceptional attention to detail
History of highly ethical behavior
Ability to work independently without considerable supervision
Highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication ability
Ability to be detail oriented, highly organized and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Flexibility in work assignments and a willingness to assume new responsibilities
