CPC is looking for an associate to join the CPC team and be involved in our young permanent equity company. CPC is building its internal teams to support its businesses. CPC started in 2021 and combines C3 Capital and Curran Companies, which have multi-decade investment track records and a long-time Kansas City presence. CPC has partnered with investors to form a permanent equity company that will focus on making 8-10 control buyouts of US-based companies with the option of holding these companies for an indefinite period. CPC is not a fund and is looking to build a perpetual base of talent that will execute on the CPC vision into the future and assist in creating value for our investors and businesses. CPC matches some of the qualities of private equity with a perpetual capital base that will allow CPC to buy, build and hold companies and benefit from the principle of compounding. • Analyze data from across our clients' various business systems to understand performance drivers and identify improvement opportunities
• Work with CPC and our businesses' leadership to identify and scope performance assessments and decision support solutions
• Leverage business knowledge to create leadership-quality deliverables that explain, present, and analyze the financial and operational performance of the business
• Support CIO of CPC on internal projects
• Participate in a collaborative environment to examine and solve problems from different perspectives
• Contribute to the evolution of CPC Shared Services as we continue to grow and advance CPC capabilities
• Work closely with our data aggregator partner on both client and internal projects
• Support change programs or projects that are happening at CPC or its businesses

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance. CPA or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience working with accounting systems
• Professional experience working in a client-facing capacity
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong operational and financial analysis skills
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for big data
• High attention to detail while often supporting multiple projects
• Ability to visualize and understand business challenges and how they fit within the "big picture"
• Capacity to work well under pressure with commitment to meeting deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Willingness to develop proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), data processing frameworks, and report/dashboard creation
• A business-savvy approach to data and its uses for companies
• Experience managing projects
• Quick learner and able to pick up new skills (IT security, project management, etc.)
• Willingness to travel
