They are primarily focused on investments in mezzanine debt and preferred equity securities to generate income and capital appreciation. F3C was founded in 2008 by well-seasoned partners with successful backgrounds in private equity.

F3C provides capital for growth equity, buyouts, carve-outs, refinancings, and other strategic objectives.

Associate Role

F3C is preparing for its next stage of growth as they raise Fund V. The associate will primarily be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities through financial due diligence. This role is in line with industry norms for associate level work hours.

Responsible for building financial models, internal memos, and supporting sourcing activities
Comp expected @ $175k to $225k + Carry Discussion

Evaluating new investment opportunities through extensive financial and industry due diligence;
Creating detailed financial cash flow and operating models;
Preparing internal investment review memoranda to support the investment process;
Communicating effectively with company stakeholders, owners/ entrepreneurs, family offices, investment banks, due diligence providers and other third parties relevant to transaction underwriting;
Monitoring financial and operating performance of existing portfolio companies (including attending board meetings), including quarterly reviews and valuations; and Supporting origination activities.

2-5 years of investment banking, private equity, and/or corporate finance experience;
Strong cash flow modeling and financial analytical skills;
Ability to quickly distill core themes and ideas from large amounts of information;
Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities;
High level of maturity and an exceptional work ethic;
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within competing time frames; and Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university with strong academic performance;
Ability to travel.
