F3C is seeking to add a Vice President to its Investment Team in Dallas or Kansas City. The investment professional will focus primarily on  senior debt investments, private debt and equity investing, credit analysis, transaction structuring, due diligence processes, training and managing Associates, and portfolio management.

The Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Manage, train, and develop Associates
• Evaluating new investment opportunities through extensive financial and industry due diligence;
• Creating detailed financial cash flow and operating models;
• Preparing internal investment review memoranda to support the investment process;
• Communicating effectively with company stakeholders, owners/entrepreneurs, family offices, investment banks, due diligence providers and other third parties relevant to transaction underwriting;
• Monitoring financial and operating performance of existing portfolio companies (including attending board meetings), including quarterly reviews and valuations;
• and Supporting origination activities.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8-12 years of investment banking, private equity and/or private credit experience;
• Innate curiosity for investing and underwriting key risks for a variety of businesses across multiple sectors;
• Strong cash flow modeling and financial analytical skills;
• Ability to (i) quickly distill core themes and ideas from large amounts of information into concise memos and (ii) effectively present to investment committee;
• Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities;
• High level of maturity and an exceptional work ethic;
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within competing time frames and with little oversight;
• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university with strong academic performance;
• and Ability to travel.
