The Investment Principal will primarily be responsible for sourcing and leading diligence for early stage SaaS and tech-enabled investment opportunities.

• Actively work with portfolio companies to provide strategic assistance to maximize performance
• Work through amendment processes and restructurings
• Assist the Principal on structuring, negotiations and closing for new investment
• Manage the preparation of portfolio reviews of existing investments
• Lead due diligence on investment opportunities and deal processes along with support team of Associates
• Lead presentations of opportunities and full underwritings in Investment Committee
• Prepare portfolio reviews of existing investments
• Ongoing analysis and monitoring of portfolio to support internal valuation and portfolio management
• Handle communications with legal team

Desired Qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant experience (e.g. credit underwriting and portfolio management within VC/Growth Equity. Prior VC / Credit Fund experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with workout agreements is preferred
• Strong research, analytical and financial modeling skills
• A passion for technology demonstrated by in-depth knowledge of emerging trends
• Experience distilling ideas and insights into clean, digestible formats
• Insightful, resourceful, and strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
