Lockton is one of the world’s largest privately held insurance brokerages. Based out of KC, Locktondoes business globally and has built the firm through a continued focus ofemploying high-end professionals.

One of Lockton’s core growth avenues has been through private equity and investment banking networks. Lockton provides acquisition diligence services for PE upon the purchase of a target company (buy-side acquisition). That acquisition diligence includes the review of the target firm’s risk relative to cyber, operating, compensation and labor exposure. The diligence team works hand-in-hand with the buying PE firm to evaluate risk and craft a new plan to limit risk exposure.

The firm is hiring for a high-end professional with executive presence and client engagement skills. This role will routinely deal with private equity management through the diligence process of an acquisition. In this role you will be responsible for project management of the risk assessment for a target acquisition. You will be directly responsible for the management and coordination of internal resources to complete the risk assessment and communicate milestones and direction to the client.

This person should thrive in a project management role, employ strong communication skills and bring high-levels of financial literacy.

Comp is expected @ $120k to $200k

Job Description

The Transaction Advisory Practice provides consultative property & casualty insurance and employee benefits due diligence advisory services to the private equity community and Lockton?s existing client base. This team of experienced professionals provides a comprehensive assessment of the financial impact of insurance and employee benefits on a potential acquisition from both a purchase price and ongoing operational perspective. As a property & casualty Transaction Advisor, you will work in tandem with Analysts and Lockton service teams while responsible for managing the property & casualty insurance due diligence process for our private equity and corporate clients; gaining a thorough understanding of the structure of each transaction and identifying potentially deal-impactful issues arising from the target entity?s insurance programs within the context of the deal terms and conditions.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the property and casualty insurance due diligence process for our private equity and corporate clients, including:

Responsible for delivering and communicating transactional deal issues as they arise, and our final written findings to the client.

Responsible for liaising with Lockton service teams and the client on the transition of new business to Lockton. Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed.
