Ripple Ventures

Ripple Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm that invests in B2B SaaS Startups in Canada & the U.S. with a focus on enterprise software, healthcare technology, and industrial technology. In addition to its venture fund, Ripple also supports a student fellowship program for young founders and venture capitalists, hosts a podcast, and creates content to highlight insights in the industry.

Ripple is currently raising their third fund of $50mm and is seeking an Associate near New York, San Francisco, or Toronto to take part in the full cycle of pre-seed and seed stage investing.

The Associate Role

The Associate will get to take part in everything from sourcing, diligence, writing investment materials, and building a network within the investment ecosystem. This role is unique because the financial modeling requirements are much lighter in comparison to later stage investment roles. This associate will also get to take on networking and content creation opportunities.

‍Talking to startup founders and engaging with the investment community
Creating content and personal brand to share the fund’s initiatives
Working with and advising portfolio companies on operational areas
Light financial modeling

We anticipate compensation to be between $100k - $120k with an opportunity to earn carry in the fund

Investing : Responsible for everything from sourcing, to diligence, to helping founders see why they should work with Ripple, to crafting together investment materials from beginning to end.
Operating : Working with their portfolio companies on key strategic areas like sales, marketing, finance, fundraising, hiring, and more.
Marketing : Building their own personal brand while helping share the fund?s initiatives across the startup and technology ecosystem. Engaging their community while writing their own content and developing their own investment theses.
Fellowship : To help manage their student fellowship program operations, marketing, and community development needs.
Community : Creating their own 'Ripple Effect' with founders, investors, and industry leaders to turn your initial ripples into waves.
