We currently work remotely, but require someone based in Kansas City for frequent in person meetings.

Responsible for assisting the team in a variety of capacities including evaluating and executing all investment, capital raise and divestiture processes, business services and consulting activities as well as ad hoc financial analysis. Further duties include:

• Collaborating with team members on all aspects of transaction processes from origination, detailed due diligence, financial modeling, structuring, negotiation, closing and post-transaction reporting
• Maintaining detailed pipeline of Sansara M&A and business services prospects; Assist team with opportunity prospecting; proposal development, status tracking and follow-up requests
• Creating and maintaining financial models for all M&A/divestiture processes and performing ad hoc analyses to help inform key investment and operating decisions
• Curate buy side M&A target lists and outbound contacting efforts
• Performing various operational analysis and material preparation including, KPI development, performance improvement measures, go-to-market and pricing analyses
• Responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis projects as requested from time to time
• Creating professional correspondence including, memos, emails, agendas, presentations and marketing materials
• Assist Partners with a broad range of administrative matters and tasks as requested

Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related academic discipline
• Minimum of two years of experience, preferably within M&A, investment banking, accounting, private equity, consulting, corporate development, business investments, or other finance/accounting-related field (experience showing business judgment)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and presentation material preparation as well as accounting skills / knowledge
• Proven and demonstrated expertise in financial analysis/valuation,
• Understanding of leverage and debt capital markets, new business origination, and negotiation.
