Virtus is actively seeking a business operations leader to deliver and report on process improvement solutions throughout the company by leveraging appropriate tools, to develop sustained improvements that help management achieve business goals and yield increased financial return.

You will lead the continuous improvement process with respect to connectivity, cost, quality and productivity throughout the company to increase client satisfaction and reduce operating cost. You will have the opportunity to act as a change agent liaison that spreads the mindset of continuous improvement and innovation.

This position is tasked with improving the overall operations of the business by analyzing, choosing and deploying a wide variety of leadership methodologies, project management theories, technologies and processes. While technology will undoubtedly play a part in the role, the true essence of the role is how best to marry technology and business processes to yield exception results for all facets of the business.

Reporting directly to the VP Business Operations, you will see all aspects of the business from tactical to strategic and you’ll have the opportunity to mold how Virtus grows for years to come. You’ll be in charge of multiple projects, all of which will have mission critical implications. This position has a high level of visibility across the organization and Corporate Leadership Team.

• Assess and decide which methodology to apply and the tools and techniques to utilize to effectively lead each process improvement project.
• Analyze process and performance data to understand current performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze and develop solutions that facilitate process standardization, continuous productivity and quality improvement.
• Manage multiple activities/projects with a high attention to detail.
• Design and collaborate (with VP Business Operations, COO & Finance) to track metrics and key performance indicators for each process automation/improvement project.
• Identify, design, and lead multiple strategic and continuous improvements mapping projects.
• Provide reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems including evaluation of new technologies to improve existing functions.
• Facilitate process mapping activities to understand current and ideal states, and conduct analyses and provide recommendations to drive transformation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Working knowledge of Project Management and Change Management
• Must be tech savvy and financial (accounting and finance) and business acumen as they will need to have a good grasp on both worlds to properly manage a project plan with a high attention to detail
• Experience overseeing a wide range of internal projects (with customer facing implementations) and initiatives ranging from system implementations, process improvement, reporting, and compliance
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and team facilitation skills to collaborate with key stakeholders and excellent verbal and written communication skills and good executive presence
